Interview with Judges
- Delegates wear an outfit of their choice. Mini age division - NO Interview. Outfit of your choice: dress, jumpsuit, pantsuit, let your personality shine through in the portion of the competition. The 3-5 minute, (depending on age-division) Panel Interview allows Judges to derive questions from the delegate application and score delegates for Personality, Ambition, Confidence, Overall Appearance. Judges will be seated. Delegates stand for this portion of the competition.
Scoring: 30% of overall score.
Judge's scores and notes available. Mini age division - NO Interview. Mom will accompany their daughter and introduce them to the panel of judges. No score.

Delegates will receive the official AMP opening number outfit at registration. State banner, no crowns for Opening Number.
Delegates state their name, age, hometown, and state. Criteria for judging Opening Number are Onstage Personality, Confidence, Overall Appearance.
Scoring: 10% of overall score. Stage presence, confidence, enthusiasm.

Fashion Runway
One of the favorite categories in today's modern pageants is Fashion Runway. It's more fun and modish than an evening gown and may be a dress, shorts or pants outfit. Delegates model an outfit of choice and are judged on Outfit, Creativity, Modeling Ability and Confidence.
Walking pattern will be posted prior to nationals.
Scoring: 30% of overall score.
Judge's scores and notes available.
Mini age division 50% of overall score.
Evening Gown

Fashion Runway
The most beautiful part of any pageant - the Evening Gown Competition. Delegates select a floor-length gown or their choice. Mini only, short or floor length dress.
Judges will be looking for Poise, Gracefulness, Confidence, and Overall Appearance.
Walking pattern will be posted prior to nationals.
Scoring: 30% of overall score.

WHY ENTER AMP OPTIONALS
Optional competitions allow delegates to be on stage and compete in their age divisions for top honors in a number of areas. This is a separate competition that allows delegates to be on stage and compete in their age divisions for top honors in a number of areas. This is judged by a different panel of judges and does not impact the AMP titles. See the categories below.The AMP
Optional Competitions provide more opportunities to showcase your individual interests and talents, gain confidence on stage, and be recognized for your phenomenal talents. Each optional event provides another opportunity to win in your age division!
AMP Optional Competitions are judged by a separate panel of judges.
Optional Entry form available once delegate has been selected as AMP State Queen.
PHOTOGENIC
Delegates to provide one 8x10, color or black-and-white photo with their name and age on the back of the photo. Limit of 1 photo per contestant is permitted. Judging criteria: Photos do not have to be professional but should be of good quality and clarity. Judges are looking for eye contact, clarity & quality and overall appeal.
TALENT
Delegate talent is limited to 1:30. Music must be supplied to pageant headquarters in MP3 format by entry deadline date. One talent entry per contestant is permitted. Judging criteria: Quality of talent, Confidence, Overall Appearance
MODELING
Delegates may select an outfit of their choice that represents their unique style to model with a time limit up to 1-minute for this competition.
Judging criteria: Creativity, Confidence, Overall Modeling Ability
FITNESS WEAR
Delegates may select an outfit of their choice that represents their unique style in the fitness wear category. Time limit allowed is up to 1-minute for this competition.

SPOKES MODEL
The Spokes Model Competition allows each contestant to showcase her public speaking skills. Delegates will have a podium they can use for this competition. Delegates are asked to recite up to a 100-word motivational speech about A Woman Who Inspires You.
Judging criteria: Confidence and Overall Presentation
ABOUT ME SCRAPBOOK
Delegates may submit an ABOUT ME customized scrapbook, no larger than 12" x 12" highlighting you, your family, interests and hobbies. It should be more than 10 pages or 20 pages if making a back side of each page. Max pages 20 pages (or 40 back to back) Please submit your scrapbook at registration.
Judging criteria: Creativity, Neatness, and Personal Expression.
AMP - Where Kindness Matters
