Delegates in every age division are presented with the Official American Miss Medal Delegate award during the crowning ceremony for their performance.

The title of American Miss Ambassador will be presented to a delegate in any age division, with a combination score of high ad sales in the Official American Miss Program book, Ticket Sales, Pageant Score, Community Involvement, and represents the American Miss Pillars: Intelligence | Ambition | Kindness. The winner will be crowned American Miss Ambassador and will be invited to crown her successor.
Theresa Pelletier recognized the benefits positive pageantry could offer young women. She ran several pageant programs in Northern Maine before launching the New England American Miss Pageant in 1986. She helped hundreds of young women gain confidence and life skills that would benefit them always.
Those who knew her, will remember her for her style and elegance. As we honor her legacy the American Miss Pageant system is honored to award the Theresa Pelletier Signature Bling Necklace to one delegate who brings a positive light to pageantry.
The industry’s most prestigious award. The Pageantry Spirit Award reflects the true meaning of competition, that of personal growth and character development.
