Portland, ME – Vivian Courtway, the National Mini titleholder of the American Miss Pageant, has achieved a remarkable milestone at just 5 years old. Demonstrating the core values of the American Miss Pageant, Vivian recently helped to raise over $104,000 for Operation ReBoot Outdoors, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting veterans, law enforcement officers (LEOs), and service members.
Operation ReBoot Outdoors specializes in offering therapeutic outdoor experiences—such as hunting, fishing, and other recreational activities—to help individuals who have served honorably rediscover peace and healing. Their mission is particularly crucial given the high rates of suicide among veterans and service members, and their programs aim to provide a much-needed "reboot" for those in need.
The recent fundraiser, where Vivian played a pivotal role, featured a 50-50 raffle and an opportunity to connect with veterans, volunteers, and other supporters. Vivian’s involvement was heartfelt and impactful, as both of her parents are veterans. Her dedication to this cause underscores her commitment to helping others and aligns with the values of compassion and service promoted by the American Miss Pageant.
The event proved to be a tremendous success, with the $104,000 raised providing crucial support to Operation ReBoot Outdoors. This generous contribution will aid in the continuation of their vital work, helping veterans and LEOs reconnect with nature and find solace in the great outdoors.
Vivian’s efforts have not only showcased her exceptional character but also highlighted the importance of community support in addressing the challenges faced by those who have served our country. Her enthusiasm and kindness have shone brightly, inspiring many and making a significant difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
