American Miss Pageant has 9-age divisions. Mini (2-4) | Young Miss (5-8) | Preteen (9-12) | Jr. Teen (13-15) | Teen (16-19) | Miss (20-25) | MS (26+ or divorced, or a parent) | Mrs. (18+ must be married) | Elegant Miss (50+ married or single). A delegate's age division is determined on the FIRST DAY OF THE NATIONAL PAGEANT.
Every state can have up to 5 AMP State Queens each age division. The State Titles will represent the Delegate State for either Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western, or Central, in their respective age division. To qualify to represent a US state, the delegate must either live (full-time or part-time), work, or attend school in the state they will represent at the American Miss National Pageant.
Delegates may represent the American Miss Pageant as a State Queen through December 31st of the pageant year.
