How to submit your volunteer hours to AMP
List your volunteer service hours from November 2023 to October 2024. Submission must include: Date, number of volunteer hours, (travel is included in your volunteer hours), Event, Location, and Contact Name and email of organizer. If you meet the PVSA volunteer requirements, you will be eligible to receive the prestigious PVSA medal, certificate, and official letter signed by the President of the United States of America.

One of the more well-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on your community. Volunteering allows you to make your community a better place. Even helping with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organizations in need. This is not a requirement to win the American Miss Pageant titles. AMP will present these medals at the Queen's gala event.
About The President's Volunteer Service Award

In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
The PVSA has continued under each administration, honoring the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation. Volunteering is ingrained in American society. Millions of Americans, children and adults, volunteer in the United States each year supporting friends, family, and neighbors. Without volunteers, communities would face devastating gaps in necessary services.
The President's Volunteer Service Awards recognizes US citizens for their volunteer work that helps improve the lives of others.
Encouraging Volunteering At A Young Age
Encouraging kids to start volunteering at a young age provides opportunity for student to learn and grow into valuable members of society. They develop life skills as they get immersed in activities in their communities. They become socially aware and learn to appreciate their life and value what they have.
Volunteers ages 5 and over, are eligible to receive a PVSA.

When we recognize volunteer efforts that go above and beyond, nominating them for a PVSA is a great way to acknowledge years of service and extraordinary efforts. Recognition is an important component of any volunteer organization.
